Ridge Reef A long, broken chain of coral reefs. It is a haven for smaller swimmers, fish, ammonites, and other things that could potentially be made food, if you can fit yourself into the narrow spaces. The sea is shallow and always warm. |

Sundeep Out beyond the reef, the sea begins. The bottom is gently-sloping and sandy, dotted with shells and rocks. It's a peaceful place, good for sun and swimming, but it's deep enough to accommodate larger, less friendly swimmers. |

The Shallows Closer to the green-and-dry, the sea becomes shallower. The presence of warm currents brings shoals of fish to these waters, making them the perfect hunting grounds for the more agile swimmers. |

Sunningrocks This flat projection of rocks rises from the ocean several lengths from shore. The rocks are flat, black, and constantly in the sun. They are the perfect place to beach if one doesn't want to be bothered by the land-hunters. |

Jag Rocks From above-water, this spur of cliff heading into the water from the largest island looks plain. Under the water, though, it is a network of caves and caverns. In calm weather, it is safe to explore and hide in, but storms make the crags of stone deadly, and they are unpredictable at best. |

Nightwater During the day, this stretch of deep ocean appears nondescript. The sea-floor far below is shrouded in gloom, and large hunters can easily hide here. But at night, the moonlight draws squid to the surface to make easy meals for the faster hunters. |
